About CGSL

Dear Cypress Girls Softball players, families, friends, and sponsors,

Since 1970, Cypress Girls Softball League (CGSL) has been providing the opportunity for girls in our community to learn the great game of softball. As we kickoff our 45th year of softball, I want to welcome you to one of the premier softball leagues in Orange County. We are proud to be a member of the Central Division of the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) providing recreational Junior Olympic softball to the girls in the community.

CGSL provides great softball experience for girls ages 5 through 18 in Cypress starting in T-Ball all the way up through our High School Division. We take pride in our league providing quality instructions to our players, coaches, managers and volunteers. We also encourage that competitive spirit while maintaining the high standards of sportsmanship.

We take pride in the fact that we provide quality instructions to our players, coaches, managers and other volunteers through a variety of difference sources, such as players clinics, coaches and managers clinics, scorekeepers clinics. We also foster a community spirit by having league functions such as Opening Day festivities and ASA Angels Night.

Lastly, we have a solid Board of Directors (20+ volunteers) committed to making sure this is a great season for you and your daughter(s), and all of our families and friends. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I thank you for support, enthusiasm, and cooperation this season.
